AMD launches 'Never Settle' promo, offers Far Cry 3 and Hitman for free

NVIDIA offered quite an attractive bundle to move PC gamers onto its Kepler architecture. $299 nets you a GTX 660 Ti with a free copy of Borderlands 2. Not to be outdone, rival graphics card manufacturer AMD announced its own "Never Settle" holiday promo.

So long as you pick up an AMD HD 7770 GHz Edition card or better, you'll get a free copy of Far Cry 3, along with a 20% discount coupon for Medal of Honor: Warfighter. Shelling out more dough will unlock more games.

Buy two 7770 cards and you'll also get a copy of Hitman Absolution. Finally, go all the way with the HD 7900 series to get a copy of Sleeping Dogs. In addition, "select boxes" will also include a coupon for immediate beta access to Firefall.

Considering the 7770 can be found for around $100, getting a free copy of Far Cry 3 certainly makes it a far more attractive deal. The 7900 cards, however, start at around $400--so make sure you keep that in mind when thinking about which bundle you'll "never settle" for.

I typically recommend Nvidia over AMD, but getting a card that includes 2 unreleased AAA games and a third still fairly new game is pretty amazing in the value department. I would be very hard pressed to recommend Nvidia, despite my preference for their products.

This is awesome, but after quickly reading through the terms and conditions it seems that Fary Cry 3 is not a Steam key but a Ubishop/ubiplay (or whatever it's called) key. What a shame...

Must be a typo. Insert Far Cry 3 after "free copy of..."

Off topic: FYI, the 12.11's are out and I've heard they've done wonders for the 7k series cards.
