Inversion delayed for polishing
by Alice O'Connor, Jan 25, 2012 10:15am PSTGravity-shifting shooter Inversion has been delayed once again, to give developer Saber Interactive more time to sharpen it up. It was due to arrive very shortly indeed, on February 7, but is now expected to launch some time in early 2012.
"This additional development time will allow the team to polish several key aspects of the game ensuring Inversion is of the highest quality," publisher Namco Bandai confirmed to GameSpot.
When first announced, Inversion was lined up for a 2010 launch. It's coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
I thought Inversion another humdrum third-person cover-based shooter when I got to play it last year, albeit one with some fancy tech, though our Jeff has also played and was a little more impressed. It may be possible that I'm simply an old grump.
Here, from September 2011, is a look at Inversion's combat:
Capcom, Sega, Namco Bandai collaborating on 3DS title
Simpsons free-to-play iOS game coming soon
Moby Games Classic: MechWarrior 2: 31st Century Combat
Mass Effect 3 includes reversible 'FemShep' cover, Xbox Live trial
