TimeShift Dev Unveils Gravity Bender 'Inversion'
by Chris Faylor, Oct 20, 2009 12:30pm PDTTimeShift developer Saber Interactive is continuing to wreak havoc with the natural way of things, as the studio's latest packs "a revolutionary gravity manipulation engine."
Dubbed INVERSION, the cooperative PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 action game was announced today by publisher Namco Bandai and is slated to release in 2010.
Armed with the gravity-manipulating Grappler, players will be "maneuvering massive objects as shields or projectiles, and moving camped enemies out of concealed cover." Namco added that it's one of the first games to support Havok Destruction tech, resulting in "massively destructible environments including an elaborate cover system."
