Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 rated in Korea
by Steve Watts, Dec 09, 2011 8:00am PSTSega seems to be preparing the second episode of Sonic the Hedgehog 4, if a Korean rating is any indication. The downloadable titles were put on hold this year due to Sonic's anniversary celebrations with Generations, but Sega has previously said Episode 2 is coming in 2012.
Siliconera reports that the Korean rating tends to come a few months before the game releases. Sega may be aiming for a spring release, rather than the fall when Episode 1 launched. Previously the Korean Rating Board has spilled the beans on Limbo for PS3, Joe Danger for XBLA, and the Jak & Daxter Collection.
Sega of America and Europe president Mike Hayes previously recognized some shortcomings of the previous episode and committed to correcting them. "I know there were some quality issues that we had there that we've taken on board and there will be further episodes following up on that," he said. "I think the next one's excellent. I think that's going to overcome some of the issues we had on the first one."
