Jak & Daxter 'Collection' confirmed for PS3
by Steve Watts and Xav de Matos, Nov 09, 2011 4:45pm PSTSony Computer Entertainment America has confirmed a Jax & Daxter collection is in the works. Rumors of a collection resurfaced earlier today when a German ratings board listed the title on its website.
"We can confirm the Jak and Daxter Collection is coming and will have more news to share shortly," an SCEA representative told IGN.
This morning, Siliconera reported the leak from the German ratings board, which backed up previous rumors from the Korean ratings board in October.
The Korean Ratings Board report pegged the game for a January 20 release, but SCEA would not confirm the date.
The leaks, however, note the game as the "Jak and Daxter Trilogy," whereas SCEA confirmed the title as the "Jax and Daxter Collection. The assumption is the package will include Jak & Daxter, Jak II, and Jak 3; however, the series includes two other titles: Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier and Jak X: Combat Racing.
