XIII infiltrates Good Old Games
by Xav de Matos, Mar 31, 2011 2:00pm PDTThe Ubisoft-published, cel-shaded shooter XIII (A.K.A. Thirteen) has awoken unclear of its past on GOG.com. The first-person shooter is an adaptation of the Franco-Belgian comics series of the same name from creators Jean Van Hamme and William Vance.
XIII is available on Good Old Games for $5.99 and features both single- and multiplayer modes as well as a few GOG.com extras (avatars and the game's soundtrack).
The game begins when a man--codenamed XIII--wakes up somewhere in New York, badly wounded and with no memory of his past. Starring the voice talents of David Duchovny and Adam West, the game was released to mixed reviews when it launched for the PC, Xbox, PS2, and GameCube in 2003.
