The newest trailer for the upcoming "choose your own adventure" RPG from Eidos Montreal features another quick glimpse at the multiple paths that players can utilize to achieve their goals.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is promising to give players the option of being completely agressive or primarily sneaky. Interestingly enough, the footage is from the same level as the recent developer walkthroughs released by publisher Square Enix. We've year to see any other sections of the game in action, so we can only hope each mission throughout the game features the same level of choice.
For more details on the upcoming title, make sure to check out our recent interview with Deus Ex: Human Revolution game director Jean-François Dugas, as well as our interview with the game's lead writer and narrative designer, Mary DeMarle. Parts one and two of our hands-on is based on the same level shown here in the video, so be sure to check those out for more information, too.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is coming to PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 on August 24.

And the new Deus Ex is being made by one developer and ported by another to PC with 360 having been the lead platform.
Looks like IW Redux. Looks like the same for Thief 4. Same story, different day. Two outstanding PC franchises dumbed down and dribbled onto consoles, then what's left was stamped down by a quick 'n dirty port.
It's a damn shame because this game had a good look and interesting story, but when I saw they weren't even handling their own PC version, the writing on the wall became clear enough to read without augmentations.
