Crysis 2 PS3 multiplayer demo confirmed
by Steve Watts, Feb 24, 2011 8:50am PSTThe PlayStation 3 will be getting its own Crysis 2 multiplayer demo after all. The confirmation comes from a new teaser video, the end of which declares: "PlayStation 3 multiplayer demo coming soon."
It seemed for a while as if the PS3 would be the one platform without a sample of Crysis 2's multiplayer offerings. The Xbox 360 has had its demo for weeks and the PC version is coming on March 1. Those demos included the same maps and modes, so the PS3 version will probably be similar as well -- hopefully minus the bugs.
A date wasn't mentioned for the PS3 demo, but it can't be too much longer. The game is set to launch on March 22 in North America, leaving a scant few Tuesdays for the demo to go up on the PlayStation Network before the full game hits.
