Crysis 2 March 2011 Release Dates Revealed
by Jeff Mattas, Aug 13, 2010 11:00am PDTAfter having previously announced that Crysis 2 wouldn't be ready for release until 2011, developer Crytek tweeted today that its graphical-powerhouse of a shooter launches on March 22, 2011 in North America, and March 25, 2011 in Europe.
Astute Shacker (taczbr) also noticed that the first official screenshot for Crysis 2's multiplayer has also been unleashed.
Crysis 2 will hit the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, and will support stereoscopic 3D across all platforms.

Also, I don't think that you will have to worry about things feeling empty considering that the game is set in a city now.
The new videos of this looked good, but I think I would prefer a game in the looks and/or scenarios they showed in the tech demo, the one with the viking ship and the castle.
But maybe this will be an improvement over the first one in every way, we will see I guess.
