And a good morning to each and every one of you. Had a good weekend?

Mine was filled with hours of Fable 2. Unless the storyline goes horrendously bad during the last part, this will be my Game of the Year.By far more fun than anything I've played this year, and I don't look forward to completing it at all. I'm just doing side-quests now to avoid having to advance the main story for the time being. Though a bit buggy (I've played half the game with a furniture upgrade message at the top of my screen), its just so incredibly charming and funny - though I can see it doing nothing for other people because some elements are probably a bit of an acquired taste. Unless its just horse armor, I will buy every bit of DLC they release for this game.

When I was a kid I thought the coolest part about being an adult is just being able to do whatever you wanted and not have to deal with things like curfews, bedtimes, and other restrictions on my being awesome. And being a full adult, I have to say that it is pretty great and delivered as expected. But it isn't the coolest thing.

I've learned the coolest thing is that your friends become professionals in the world. Now I've got friends that are doctors, lawyers, firemen, teachers, musicians, investors, CEOs etc. You get to learn about the details of cool professions and jobs and help each other out using skills from your various areas. It is the one thing that shows up in adulthood over and over to be the best aspect.

I say this as I feel like complete death today and my friend who is a doctor is coming by after he leaves the hospital to see why I am being such a pussy. I just need a friend now that plays in the NBA. I used to live down the hall from Chris Duhon, but never spoke to him.

  My friend's uncle designed theme parks/rides for Universal. The first thing he ever did was The Miami Vice show at Universal Studios (which was the first "show" kind of thing at a theme park). He also did much of Islands of Adventure. Back in the day, when I was in high school, I was at my friends house during a family outing, and he was there. It was right around the time that Star Wars Episode 1 came out. He mentioned that he didn't like the movie, following it up with "Spielberg told me it was good and he was full of crap". Yeah, his cellphone has a lot of big Hollywood names, mostly because he would work with them on making the rides (Spielberg was from the Jurassic Park ride).
