Achievement and trophy hunters will go the world's end and beyond to collect their badges of courage, and fortunately for Destiny 2 players, such travels are as common as Cabal legionaires. One of the more talked-about achievements in Destiny 2 is Lest Ye Be Judged, which requires the player to make contact with an Emissary from beyond. If it sounds simple, that's because it is, but this achievement still manages to be a little tricky to unlock. Fortunately, we've got the run-down on everything Guardians need to know to add this achievement to their growing collection.
The first step in unlocking Lest Ye Be Judged is to dive into the Crucible playlist and head into the new Trials of the Nine event. This is a somewhat-new PvP mode, and players need to put together a team of relatively skilled allies and win at least one match in order to unlock the social space needed for this achievement. Do note that Trials of the Nine only open for play on the weekends, but for dedicated Guardians, this requirement shouldn't prove to be too much of a problem.
After winning their first Trails of the Nine match, Guardians will be granted access to the Third Spire, the new social space maintained by the Nine. Head back to the Destiny 2 main menu, select the Crucible, then inspect the new icon above the central sphere -- this is the shortcut to the Third Spire. Select it and click Launch to be taken to the new area. Once there, you should find that the Lest Ye Be Judged will be unlocked automatically, and they'll be one step closer to completing the Destiny 2 achievements and/or unlocking the Traveler's Chosen Platinum trophy.
