I am an asshole from the 1980's, I know how to slack off, i know how to present myself as if I am more capable of doing what I am actually capable of doing. I know how to make it seem like something is something when it actually isn't - I know how to cleverly slack off - because that's the job and everyone is lazy and knows how to do it - you just "act as if" . Your boss is the ultimate lazy person - so lazy in fact that he hired one billion people to do things for him so he could sip cocktails in the bahamas and fuck his idiot wife. There's a problem in all of this though and it is an emergent one. The problem is the new generation. The new generation of humans doesn't have the "act as if" factor of laziness - when it comes time to perform and to get things done, they will completely disappear as if ghosts or spectre-like physical anomalies, or outright refuse any normal responsibilities a regular human would accept on the nose given a situation. As an adult, normally you slack off when you feel like you need to; you just do your lazy asshole thing until it's time to actually react to the situation. The new generation does not understand this FUNDAMENTALLY. They are not in on the secret, and I can only assume they don't care

The new generation is on laziness steroids. They are MUTANTS. The new generation are a mutated form of human being. They will absolutely stand upright in front of you and tell you that they don't want to work with a straight face. Responsibility is a toxic allergen to anyone under the age of 30; at my job I spoke with a employee last week who told me they were tardy so often because their phone screen was cracked and therefore could not wake up on time because the alarm app could not be set to go off. This is a completely insane lie. Beyond that, due to their age, few things that this person says are believable. But it gets even better; this same employee asked for a brand new phone through the company so that they could have a working alarm through their phone so they could wake up ontime and do their job. This is an insane level of laziness that I could never recreate in any environment, virtual or real. That is a crystal clear picture of the level of responsibility with the new generation. They do not even know how to pretend or play the game. Everyone between the age of 20 and 30 at my job is an asshole, the females and the males - they are horrible - the hispanic ones, the black ones, the white ones, the asians, the polynesian ones, all of them, every race, virtually every ethnicity and personality type, IQ, gender expression under the age of 30 are criminally lazy pieces of shit who don't even care and this is why we're all going to die - it was not the booomers , its the current ones . They are useless

How the US Is Destroying Young People’s Future | Scott Galloway | TED

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qEJ4hkpQW8E

I don't know if this was already posted because I don't know how to search the chatty anymore, but this one is a punch in the gut.

Also, loved the audience's awkward hesitation when he made the remark about diabetes/obesity.

What do I do with all of this? I don’t want to throw them away, this was my childhood. Do people buy this? I’d like to maybe sell this but I don’t know.

Life was simpler back then Shacknews. -_-

Cybertruck Owner Breaks His Finger Trying to Show Vehicle Is Safe

    https://gizmodo.com/cybertruck-video-breaks-finger-safe-stick-elon-musk-1851460112

Incredibly, the content creator even tries it out with a stick first, which promptly breaks in half.
“But first I’m going to test it out with this stick. This is exactly what I’m going to do with my finger. I’m going to put it right there and hopefully my finger doesn’t break like that but let’s find out,” Fay says.

Porn performer Stormy Daniels is expected to testify Tuesday at Donald Trump's hush money trial

An attorney for Daniels, Clark Brewster, told The Associated Press that the actor, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, is “likely” to be called as a witness on Tuesday. Trump said he was “recently told” who the witness would be on Tuesday and complained in a Truth Social post that he later deleted that he should have been given more notice.

    . . .

Daniels' testimony, even if sanitized for a courtroom setting and stripped of tell-all details, is by far the most-awaited spectacle in a trial that has toggled between tabloidesque elements and dry record-keeping details. Her turn on the witness stand will represent a remarkable moment legally and politically. Courtroom testimony from an adult film performer about an intimate encounter she says she had with a former American president adds to the long line of historic firsts in this case.

This pretty much guarantees he will break the gag order again today, so let's see if he actually faces any consequences.

What is up with people who suck Microsofts dick, who can only imagine a world where every flat surface in 3D space is Bill Gates foreskin?

Do you know how lucky he got, and how many other people were trying to innovate in the personal computing arena in the time period that microsoft became a thing? You could arguably say the same thing about Apple. Why does everyone want to suck Tim Cooks dick, to ceremoniously cup the balls of Steve Jobs, Jony Ive and extremely lucky idiots like Mark Newsom? Everyone wants to suck their dick. Look at the failure of the Apple Vision Pro if you want to know what I am talking about. This company has no idea what it is doing. Just because you make a shitton of money doesn't mean you are innovative. Making money is not innovative. A prostitute with HIV can make a lot of money. You can also look at Todd Howard, who is an asshole, and draw all of the same conclusions; these people are salesmen. They are not innovators.

There had to have been at least 200 billion companies around the time Apple, Microsoft and others were "innovating". There are countless variables that led to their "success", most of those variables were COMPLETELY out of the control.

People are too apt to attribute success to people who just got lucky. There is no reason Jony Ive should have ever had a job. Do you understand at all how much of an asshole that guy is? Ive is not a good designer, you can also believe that Steve Jobs was a terrible manager. I haven't read his book - why would I? I'm not saying that Apple or Microsoft are bad companies, I'm just saying that there is no reason, at all, to believe that there couldn't have been a better version of what they are doing. They simply survived an enormously challenging "innovation" race, that implies nothing whatsoever to how actually good their product was or is.
