Free-to-play Happy Wars jumps to PC, requires Xbox Live account

Toylogic's "large-scale multiplayer" free-to-play action game, Happy Wars, is jumping from Xbox 360 to PC. And oddly, it requires an Xbox Live account on PC.

Free-to-play Happy Wars no longer requires Gold on Xbox 360

Happy Wars has updated with a variety of tweaks and a new gameplay mode, but the biggest change comes to the business model. Now non-Gold Xbox Live members can play the single-player modes.

Happy Wars has over 1.2 million players

Xbox 360 is finally jumping into the world of free-to-play. The "large-scale multiplayer" action game, Happy Wars, will be launching as a free download to all Xbox Live Gold members.
