Any fears that Torchlight 2 might suffer from its proximity to Diablo 3 or sequel fatigue from the first game can be put to rest. The game has managed to top a million sales after approximately three months on the market--a feat its predecessor only reached after a year and a half, even with the advantage of appearing on two platforms.
Torchlight 2 has been outfitted with a new patch that, among its various bug fixes and tweaks to current game systems, adds a couple more pets. Now you can have an owl or a badger following you around and doing your busywork for you.
