JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle coming to PS3 in 2014

CyberConnect 2, developers of the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm series, will have yet another anime-based fighting game appear on PS3 next year. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle is a fighter based on a more obscure anime--but one that's just as beloved by the developer.

Development director Hiroshi Matsuyama said that fans have always wanted CC2 to work on a Dragonball game, but Matsuyama said that there was only one other series he loved as much as Naruto. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is a long-running series in Japan, already up to its eighth story arc. The game was recently released in Japan as part of the franchise's 25th anniversary, and picked up a perfect score from gaming magazine Famitsu.

Sony aims to sell 5 million PS4 systems by March 2014

"Our plan is to sell 5 million PS4s by the end of 2013," Sony Computer Entertainment CEO Andrew House said during his Tokyo Game Show keynote. (Update: Sony's Shuhei Yoshida clarified that this refers to fiscal 2013, which ends in March 2014.) Dark Souls 2 beta: what to expect

PS3 owners will be able to sample Dark Souls 2 before the game's March launch. But, what's actually in the beta?

The beta will feature about 90 minutes of gameplay (assuming you don't die over and over), and will actually have two boss characters to fight. One will be at the end of the "main route," while the other can be discovered by traveling down the "sub route."

The Evil Within TGS 'gameplay' trailer shows lots of scares but little gameplay

You may quite fancy a good look at The Evil Within gameplay, and might think the Tokyo Game Show would be a good time to share some, given that it's baby of Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami. You won't find it in the new TGS "gameplay" trailer though. You big naive fool.
