Star Trek preview: charted territory

Licensed games tend to fall into one of two categories. Most tend to be rubbish, sent through a rushed development schedule to capitalize on a marketing tie-in. But a few manage to become real gems, pushing a genre forward, and expanding its reach beyond its fans.

Star Trek pre-orderers are 'Elite Officers'

Star Trek, the series that taught a generation that hacking is an acceptable way to pass a test if you do it with enough cocksure bravado, is getting another (rebooted) installment this summer. Gameforge suffers layoffs, cancels projects

The company says this is a necessary step to making a "sustainable future" for the browser-based game house, and also announced the cancellation of at least two games.
