The fact that #VGX was able to trend on Twitter is considered a success--even if those messages weren't particularly flattering of the show.

"Death to us would have been apathy," Viacom's Erik Flannigan said. "Death would have been no one talking, no one caring, no one having an opinion about it." And people were at least talking about it.

Deadliest Warrior: Ancient Combat preview

Deadliest Warrior: Ancient Combat preview

Spike TV’s Deadliest Warrior has answered some bizarre questions over the years. Who wins between pirates and Aztecs? Are Vikings tougher than Mongols? Spike TV has spent years analyzing how various warrior cultures would fare when faced against one another. This concept was later expanded through 345 Games and Pipeworks Software’s series of downloadable Deadliest Warrior fighting games.

Deadliest Warrior: Ancient Combat packages together the first two games of the series, Deadliest Warrior: The Game and Deadliest Warrior: Legends, into a single retail disc. It also features all of the games’ DLC packs along with some new features.

Uncharted 3 reality show coming to Spike

Nathan Drake is portrayed as an everyman, who also just happens to have impeccable aim, climbing abilities, and luck. Spike TV has opted to open up this opportunity to a wider audience with a reality TV special based on Uncharted 3. Tentatively titled "GTTV Presents Uncharted 3: Race to the Ring," the show is set to film this fall.
