Spider-Man and The Evil Dead director Sam Raimi signed up to direct the long-planned World of Warcraft movie adaptation way back in 2009, but we've heard little about it since. At Comic-Con, though, Raimi revealed that he's no longer on the project, but it does seem to be going ahead.

The rumored special edition Xbox 360 for Halo 4 is real, Microsoft has confirmed. However, if you're not looking to plop down $400 for another console, there's one other way to buy some specially-branded hardware. A special UNSC controller will be sold separately for $59.99.

The Last of Us stole critics hearts and won Game of Show at this year's E3. Naughty Dog's survival horror game is a gritty adventure, and this newly revealed cinematic from San Diego Comic-Con only further highlights the grim reality that Joel and Ellie must face in a post-apocalyptic Philadelphia. Fans of Asian cinema have two new apps to look forward to on the PlayStation 3. First up is Crunchyroll. This streaming video service specializes in anime and Korean dramas. For $6.95, you can get access to the service's anime or drama library, or get both for $11.95 a month. Anime titles include Naruto Shippuden, Hunter X Hunter, and more. Korean dramas include Dr. Jing, and Jumong.

Meta comic book star Deadpool will be starring in his own video game, Activision has announced at San Diego Comic-Con. High Moon Studios, developer of the most recent Transformers games, is working on the project.
The first footage of the game shows off Deadpool's trademark sarcastic attitude combined with some very M-rated gun and sword play.

The Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector's Set is already teetering on the edge of ridiculousness. The $150 pack boasts four full games and a host of other goodies. But if all that wasn't quite enough to convince you, the PlayStation 3 version will apparently get even more games as downloadable titles.

How does one turn a monstrously long and complex fantasy novel series into a video game? By stripping out the political intrigue and oh-so-outrageous twists to focus on the brief moments of combat, the first two adaptations of George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series have shown. That's just what the free-to-play, browser-based Game of Thrones Seven Kingdoms is doing too, and you can have a gander at the results in the first trailer, shown off at Comic-Con.

Street Fighter has had a couple of notable missteps when it comes to translating the franchise to live-action, namely Street Fighter: The Movie and The Legend of Chun-Li. Will fans be able to make better than these Hollywood monstrosities? That's what Capcom plans on finding out. Well-received fan film "Street Fighter: Legacy" is getting the official treatment, set to become a full-on Web series backed by Capcom itself.

Mass Effect: Paragon Lost is an anime movie starring James Vega from Mass Effect 3. The movie is a prequel, and details Vega's time as a Special Forces squad leader assigned to protect a colony from the Collectors. In conjunction with Comic Con, Funimation has released a brand new trailer for the film.
