But Microsoft, for whatever reason, has instead chosen to buddy up with the World Series of Poker to slap its name on an official poke 'em up for Xbox Live Arcade and Windows 8. Coming this Spring, World Series of Poker: Full House Pro will be free-to-play.

Deadliest Warrior: Ancient Combat will hit on April 17 for $29.99, publisher 345 Games announced last week. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 title combines the two downloadable Deadliest Warrior games with their various bits of DLC, a new stage, new weapons, and new episodes from the Spike TV show.
Pipeworks studio head Robert Daly's military credentials have come under scrutiny recently, after a group researched his records. Daly has been identifying himself as a former Green Beret, lending credence to a military expert guiding the Deadliest Warrior series. This led one former Master Sergeant to do some digging with official government agencies.
