PlayStation 4 has prevailed, according to the March NPD report, while Microsoft and Nintendo waste no time issuing responses. Meanwhile, Battlefield: Hardline finishes March on top, but not without a strong challenge from Bloodborne.


February NPD: PS4 wins again, while Majora's Mask crashes into top spot

The PS4 wins the hardware race again, which isn't a huge surprise. What is a huge surprise is that the monsters of Evolve have been beaten out by an old gaming stalwart: The Legend of Zelda.

January NPD: PS4 overtakes Xbox One while Dying Light topples Call of Duty

In a correction to an earlier report, the PlayStation 4 has beaten the Xbox One in the month of January. What hasn't changed is that Dying Light has overtaken Kevin Spacey and crew to take the #1 software slot.

December NPD: Xbox One wins the holidays while Call of Duty's rule continues

May NPD: New game launches rule the roost
