During its 'Summer Days' pre-E3 event, CD Projekt has finally confirmed that The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings will arrive on the Xbox 360.
The developer promises that the console version will not "compromise" quality in its conversion. The Xbox port is expected to launch by the end of 2011. Read more »

Developer Eugen Systems has announced it is developing a new RTS game to add to its growing stable of franchises in the genre, this time with the alternate history title Wargame: European Escalation.
Set in the "rarely explored period of 1975-1985," Wargame: European Escalation focuses on two sides of a growing battle: the United States and Western Europe versus the Soviet Union and the Eastern European countries. "The specter of nuclear warfare loomed large over the real Cold War, but this catastrophic outcome was the ultimate last resort as everyone knew that the first one to start nuclear hostilities would end up wiped out just the same," a press release detailed. Hope your piano wire is within reach, because Square Enix has just announced the Hitman franchise is coming back. Hitman: Absolution is coming to the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 from developer IO Interactive.
Our last encounter with the 'as intelligent as he is deadly' Agent 47 was 2006's Hitman: Blood Money, which launched on the PC, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. Continuing from the previous title's unforgettable ending, Absolution will see Agent 47 on the run from police and betrayed by those he once trusted. Read more »

Earlier today, North American gamers learned the Nintendo 3DS would arrive in its region on March 27 for $249.99. Moments ago at a press event in Amsterdam, Nintendo of Europe announced release plans across the pond.
Nintendo 3DS will arrive in PAL territories on March 25. Pricing will be based on retail partners throughout Europe. Retailers have yet to reveal prices. It appears that the Nintendo 3DS will also ship in Aqua Blue and Cosmo Black in Europe, much like North America. Read more »

The guessing games can now come to an end. Nintendo has finally revealed its launch plans for the Nintendo 3DS outside of Japan, announcing the system's official release date and price for North America.
