I know a lot of you guys have multiple monitors. I've written a utility that will run in the background and dim/make black screens that you haven't moved the mouse into for a given amount of time. You can pick which displays you want it to work on, so if you always want to see one monitor all the time, just don't enable it for that display.
I did it because my 2005FPW gets image retention pretty quickly when displaying static stuff. This way it's a black screen, if you want to see something in the screen just swipe the mouse into it quick. It will never act on the monitor that the mouse is currently in, so you can read web pages, etc.
I'd love for some more feedback/feature requests. It requires .NET 4.0 and that's probably about it. If you're interested, reply here and I'll get you a link to the setup. (I'd like to keep track of who's using it for now)
Update - Version 1.0.0.1 - Everyone that got it last night, I've put a new version out at the same URL. The new version has smooth transitions from one state to the next, fading, if you will. Let me know if there are any issues installing over the top of what you currently have installed.
Thanks to everyone that's given feedback so far!
