These days I try to force myself to play around 10 games per week, but it's difficult to find time. I got promoted to Master, which feelings literally identical to diamond. I haven't noticed the overall skill increasing at all.
The GSL has a shitload of content. If I'm at my computer, there's pretty much always a GSL cast playing in the background. I'm actually flying to Toronto this friday to (among other things) watch the GSL finals in a movie theatre. Toronto shackers should come too!
And there's a sick amount of western content too. There's pretty much always a tournament going on between 9 and 5 on weekends, as well as state of the game, and other content and podcasts.
It sucks if you guys got bored of the game, because the amount of content right now is something I've never seen in the RTS community. I miss when those shacker tournaments and casts were going on!

I wish all games took player skill into account as well. When me and my work buddies play CODBLOPS on the 360, if we join a public match we get destroyed, because there are so many punks out there that are prestiging for their second time and I only play the game with these work guys so none of us are very good or will ever even get good.
The biggest thing that's hard about SC2 is that for some reason, everyone who plays it tends to get pretty worked up and even with a 50/50 ratio, a lot of people take their losses really hard. I think it's a problem with that style of game... it ratchets up your blood pressure in ways that even the twitch-based shooters do not. I've started to learn that it's "OK" to lose as often as I win and I'm trying to settle down, but it still feels like I'm jumping to something very scary every time I press the "Search" button.
