So the Mac App Store just launched with OS X 10.6.6, go download it if you haven't already.
Post your favorite apps and stuff you think is cool or not so cool about this.
My first complaint is that you have repurchase (third party) apps that you already own. Okay so some developers will split their software into two versions to keep it updated for older users, but there are already some that are going App Store exclusive.
Anyway, the new Twitter app is pretty cool and I am sure the catalog will blow up with tons more apps (hopefully more free ones) in the next couple weeks.

I am sure that part of your willingness to make that purchase was for reasons beyond just getting to play with Cocoa. You wanted a mac.
But if you didn't feel any pressing need for one. (your computing needs were just fine at the moment) Do you picture yourself going out to buy a new machine, just to casually play with Cocoa?
