Bravo game really moving along--getting two turns (almost 3) in a day is awesome :)
I'm definitely of the opinion that Pitboss is more enjoyable than singleplayer. What's the status on the FFH2 and/or Shackbattle Charlie starting up?

The rules are blatantly stolen from the Alpha/Bravo games (with minor adjustments).
RULES
1. You must take your turns. If you miss more than three turns out of seven consecutive turns without extreme extenuating circumstance, we will replace you. Queuing up actions and letting the turn timer run out is NOT considered taking your turn. Your turn is considered taken when you click the end turn button. Reread those last two sentences. The game is not fun for everyone else if your civilization rots in obscurity. Valid excuses include debilitating injury, imprisonment, and death. Travel is not an excuse. Laptops are cheap, Civ4 runs on them, and you can find a WiFi hotspot. I have faith in you. Take your turns.
2. You may have someone else take your turns in the event you do not wish to play Civ4 on your honeymoon -- a brother, a cousin, a friend, whatever. Make sure you trust this person. Rule #1 still applies.
3. If you make an arrangement for someone to permanently replace you, both you and the replacement must contact me so I am aware of it and so I have the replacement's contact information.
4. No double moves when you are at war. If you are the last to finish your turn, the server will automatically advance to the next turn, and you will have the opportunity to move again before your opponent(s) can react. This is ungentlemanly and will not be tolerated. You must allow all your wartime adversaries to move between your turns. Exception: if less than eight hours is left on the turn timer and one of your opponents has not moved, you may proceed anyway.
5. Do not give away assets when you are losing. Alliances and trading are allowed. Two players colluding to make one player stronger at the expense of the other is forbidden. I WILL ROLL BACK THE GAME FOR THIS. It ruins the game for everyone if you simply hand over cities or units to another player. If you are the target of an unstoppable military juggernaut and it's only a matter of time, either capitulate in-game and become a vassal or alert me and we'll let the AI bend over and take it for you instead of forcing you to log in every day.
6. The option "No Tech Brokering" is enabled. This means you can trade only technologies you have discovered yourself.
7. For the love of dog, please put a password on your civ.
8. No screenshot trading with other folks in game. There was some debate about this in the Alpha/Bravo game but, though I am in favor of it, clearly others are not so it is not allowed.
9. It looks like up to 18 civs are allowed in the game, the map size will be determined by the number of people who sign up. Unless stated otherwise, the other settings are as per the standard defaults: Fractal map, normal speed & resource level, temperate, etc. If you have a compelling reason for one of these settings to be adjusted we can discuss it but since I'm organizing, my decision is final :)
10. The game will begin next Friday _or potentially sooner if we fill up_. I will make sure there is plenty of notice prior to the game starting to ensure no one gets screwed at the start. Turns will be approximately 24 hrs (whatever Alpha/Bravo are set to).
11. There will be a claim your Civ subthread. Please only reply to that thread if you agree to the above rules and only reply with the Leader you have chosen. Leaders are first come first serve and I'll continue linking to this subthread in future posts until the game starts. To claim your Civ, reply to this subthread with your chosen Civ. The only responses to this post should be to indicate you've read and agree to the terms and which Civ Leader you've chosen.
