Has anyone moved up in brackets? I placed in copper (cause I sucked back then), but I am now at the top of my division and I win ~50%, despite never ever being favored. I'm thinking this means I'm playing against people from higher brackets, because when I win I gain like 15-20 points, but if I lose I only lose 1-2 points.
Is it ever going to move me up, or am I stuck in copper until the next wipe? Not that it matters over much, since it does seem to match me with good opponents, but I also wouldn't mind not being in the bottom bracket anymore either.
How was everyone's games this weekend?

Finally I figured out (through friends and replays) a good starting build order, and not to queue up like 5 units at once when the money could be spent elsewhere. Eventually I started winning a couple games here and there, through mostly luck. I remember reading Bluckesworth's post about hyper-focusing on your build order, never missing a supply depot, never missing a MULE calldown and sending your army with an attack move to the enemy's base. That's when my game really started to turn around.
I eventually fought my way up to rank 1 in copper. I got promoted to bronze, and fought my way to rank 1 in bronze within a few games there (due to the bonus points after being promoted). I got promoted to silver after maybe 5 games in bronze. Once in silver, I was getting my ass kicked left and right. I lost my first 5 games in a row, quickly and badly. It's been about a week now and I'm finally starting to win a little more than half of them. I'm currently ranked in the teens and I'm really enjoying how the ranking system is allowing my skills to improve without getting absolutely devastated by plat-level players.
I would say I probably played 180 games in copper before I got promoted, if that is any help of you. It took me til about 150 of those games to have more wins than losses, though. I had a deep hole to dig out of.
