1) Waiting around for slow ass raid group to form in your guild, waiting on others to enter instance, to get on vent, waiting on rezzes, waiting on people to run back, ready checks, waiting for others to learn how to not suck on boss fights or trash mobs. Getting DKP or going through guild politics and whatever loot system people use now.
2) Getting owned in arena due to imba class compositions that change per patch in 2s or 3s. 5s well, good luck forming a dedicated 5s team if you don't have pro rl friends playing already
3) Dealing with people undercutting your AH auctions & people who don't know how to barter/bargain on /2 Trade
4) Doing dailies for endless gold just so you can buy a mount or level 2x professions & more
5) Idling away time in front of the bank & Dalaran or fishing, having people inspect your gear to see how leet you are.
6) Become bored enough to complete all the endless achievements that Blizz has posted to help you 'rediscover' vanilla & BC content or chasing rare Titles
7) Re-leveling an alt cause you're bored, AND having to regear & fight over loot with pug groups in Naxx or DKP in guild runs in beaten 10/25 raids.
8) Farming for honor in crappy BGs just so you can have some gear to play Arena & not look scrubby.
9) Dealing with unreliable puggers in pug 10/25 raids & 5mans.
I've been there & done it all pretty much, & gotten myself merc glad title, what do I have to show for it? e-pride? lol nope! However if you have a great group of dedicated skilled friends, WoW can be enjoyable on a small scale competitively, cause even raiding on a server's #1 guild does not go as smoothly as you think.
