The whole thing going on, the acceptance or lack there of, the hatred going on or fear, xenophobia, not just about this.. About say, true aliens if they ever landed, new technologies (the iPad most recently, but anyone used to a certain way of doing things, normally shuns what is supposed to be taken as innovation), anything new that humans seem to come across, the first response is to kill it it seems as they don't understand it and it might just be easier to kill it and remain comfortable with what they know rather than invest any time in figuring something interesting out. I've noticed this alot in Lost also.. Anyways, no, I was not "in on it" nor directed in any way. I was simply playing the story out with no expectations of winning anything in the end or it being for marketing. I thought it was fun and a nice break from the normal Shack routine, which is honestly, very predictable. As was the response to this, not only by the Shack but by the other communities as well. Very human of us, no? Couldn't that be part of the story that we just realized in real time?
