Yahtzee / Zero Punctuation just hammers Torchlight for no apparent reason other than it's been done before.

This is what I don't like about all gaming review sites... the reviewers don't have nice profiles to highlight their favourite types of games, game mechanics and so on.
if David Craddock reviews Demon's Souls his opinion is almost just as valid as my 12 year old niece - because I have no context to put that review in. I only hope that he can touch on some of the interesting mechanics in his review that I can appeal to; and even then I have no idea if he holds some bias about them.
if David Craddock has a nice profile that says "I enjoy challenging 3rd person action RPGs, and some of my favourite things about those are .... and these .... are the top games I like" then I can relate to that reviewer and get a much better sense of how is opinion will reflect mine.
This all goes beyond Yahtzee obviously... as he really isn't a reviewer, rather an entertainer - one that takes even the most inconsequential issue and makes it into a major one for the sake of laugh. However, you can't really deny that his observations ring true to at least some degree (and to some, more than others).
