We watched Blade Runner in our Philosophy class and thought that if a Replicant was used to stop other Replicants, we should get a hack to stop other hackers.
I convinced my roommate to get hacks and was surprised to learn how mature some of them were and how easy to find them in the days before Google. We created a name for his hacker killer as "BladeRunner" or "Ghost Buster" and we played normally until we suspected a hacker. I spectate the guy to confirm and then he'd turn on the hacks to target the hacker. It was good fun at first because we'd piss off the hacker to leave the server.
However this story took a turn for the worse as we started to hack for fun (griefing) because it was amazing how it worked so well with being able to see players, auto aim, no recoil, auto shooting, transparent doors or walls, etc. He started hacking so much he basically became a hacker and we didn't stop doing it until an Admin console texted "Too many head shots Ghost Buster!"
