Played a game as torturer last night that was such EZmode. I didn't even purchase anything at the start of the game and went right to shaman's/hellflower. They tried to concede in like 13min which was lolz but someone voted no and we ended up steamrolling them a few minutes later. Torturers damage output just gets nuts as he levels!
Test mode is AWESOME. Fighting 100 kongors and frankensteins with 6 doombringers is endless fun :P

But really, something similar happened in WoW at one point. Once upon a time, players were rewarded with honor in battlegrounds for kills, and that was it.
Eventually Blizzard figured out that it sucked to be a healer for your team, end with zero killing blows and walk away from the game with handful of honor for the win, despite having healed your teammates to victory. So they started giving out honor based on how much you healed in addition to kills.
And yes, while this isn't a completely similar scenario, I also think it's pretty relevant. PSR is dumb and really doubt it's the best system for what it's trying to achieve. To mete out (or take away) points of a single player's skill rating based solely on the win/loss status of the match (i.e., performance of the entire team) is just dumb. Don't even get me started on how disconnects/leavers play into this whole thing.
That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.
