Heaven Can Wait - http://www.l4dmaps.com/details.php?file=177
Horde sizes are pretty huge and the campaign itself is a little long. But it's high quality stuff for a custom campaign. I thought the parking lot part of the campaign was great. Highly recommended.
Death Aboard - http://www.l4dmaps.com/details.php?file=33
I haven't finished the completed version yet but did play it while it was in beta. Pretty good campaign at the time. Highly recommended.
7 Hours Later - http://www.l4dmaps.com/details.php?file=2003
Looks pretty good but there were many times when there were no zombies at all in the forest parts of the campaign. Could probably use a little more work and tweaking. Nothing special.
Helms Deep (Survival) - http://www.l4dmaps.com/details.php?file=1274
Huge, massive map based on the castle fortress thing in LOTR. There are tons of health kits, propane tanks, gas cans, etc. Despite the epic size, it was pretty fun with friends. It's even got it's own music! Highlyl recommended.
Dust 2 (Survival) [beta] - http://www.l4dmaps.com/details.php?file=2094
It's de_dust2 from CS:S! Pretty much the same map but modified a bit for zombies. Worth playing but kinda gets old after a while.
Naniwa City - http://www.l4dmaps.com/details.php?file=53
Been a while since I played this one so I don't remember any details but it was nothing special.
Powerstation - http://www.l4dmaps.com/details.php?file=429
This campaign was fun to go through once but I'd only recommend it with friends.
Night Terror [beta] - http://www.l4dmaps.com/details.php?file=1693
This was a pretty cool campaign where each map had it's own theme. I thought it was kinda long and there was a map (maybe the 3rd one) that I don't think would be possible with expert. Worth a play through.
Dam It - http://www.l4dmaps.com/details.php?file=896
Very short campaign (only one map) but was pretty cool. I thought it was pretty well polished for a custom map. Recommended.
Remember: L4D is much more fun playing with friends than without. So try these out with other people for maximum fun.

- Heaven Can Wait is definitely the best out there but really needed a few more visual clues where to go next. We had just survived the parking garage, and had a tank on our tail - raced for the gas station and could not figure out where to go (trick was you had to go through a dark hall in the station to get to the front and into the next building that had the safehouse door), instead we all dieded. Pro tip: drop down the stairwell of the parking garage to avoid it! You just need all 4 people player controlled as the computer AI will not want to follow (or will drop to the garage roof before you go).
- Death Aboard was pretty nice. Well designed endgame (which we didn't make it through)
- Dam It was good for a single level but I will say the final rescue point was a tad too easy to defend. a mounted gun works on No Mercy because the infected can rush you from behind or the sides. Dam It's finale had too much narrowness and nothing spawwed behind the gun. Probably the only one that really needed a middle safehouse.
- 7 Hours Later definitely had its share of weirdness (infected in the safehouse, wot?) I did like that there were a few multiple paths.
One other we've played:
- DeadCity - 5 chapter thing, but very claustrophobia (the map loops around a lot on itself). Endgame (taking place in a subway station) is pretty darn challenging.
