I know you guys all have a hard on for the Popcorn Hour but what do you think about the Xtreamer?
http://www.xtreamer.net/89/content-pages/Specs.aspx

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSaoNTSNn0g
It's 99€ ~ $142 USD
The list of supported interfaces and features is pretty impressive. In my eyes the best option for this kind of stuff is still a custom built HTPC but the price is right on this thing.

They ripped off Yet Another Movie Jukebox (YAMJ) which is what lots of Popcorn Hours guys use, since it's a GPL'd product
This thread is full of lolz:
http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showthread.php?tid=24502
I'll see if I can sum things up:
1) XStreamer releases their own "movie jukebox" software which is actually just a re-badged YAMJ, without other niceties to satisfy the license YAMJ was released under
2) YAMJ developer send them a letter/email saying "wtf?"
3) XStreamer responds with "well, we don't charge for the software (it comes w/ the hardware)" so GPL doesn't count, and then:
Our software is by no means similar to YAMJ it has not of the same functionality or mechanism nor it has the same exact features or look and feel.
Your YAMJ lacks search capability, it is suitable to our standards of ease of use and is it is not based on flash modules and has limited support for PNG sequence.

4) PCH developer calls B.S. because
a) they've got the exact same bugs being reported in their forums as YAMJ has in their issue list
b) they actually ripped off the YAMJ wiki page for their documentation
c) when you run the xstreamer app, the class that's run is named "YAMJ"
5) XStreamer then makes a post on their forums (posted here: http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showthread.php?tid=24502&pid=209623#pid209623 ) saying:
a) they blame it on an "enthusiastic community member" (of course, all the files have their MViX copyright info in them)
b) claim "Well, it's GPL, so we can do whatever we want"
c) say that they've told their lawyers to contact IMDB to let them know that YAMJ scrapes info from the site and that this is a IMDB license violation
6) A PCH forum guy points out that in the rebuttal, XStreamer copy and pasted chunks of his own forum post. He makes a post on the xstreamer forums, is promptly banned
7) A PCH Forum guy finds out that they have lifted chunks of text from the websites of Apple, Western Digital, D-Link, ShareIt, and Iomega

8) xtreamer also ripped off some images of chairs from Equinix, which were used on their homepage and forums.. At one point xtreamer had a youtube video embedded on their homepage which had a DMCA takedown notice on it.
