-iPhone - Rogers Canada
-HTC Diamond - Rogers/Bell
-BB Storm - Bell/Telus
Caveats: wife has a strict no splurging on gadgets rule... so I'm looking at maximum $100 for the handset (probably more like $50->free), and no more than $40 / mth (could maybe push $50 and drop my home phone)...
Wants:
-Shiny toy
-Mp3 player
-MSN/Hotmail (will sacrifice for all the crazy shit on the iPhone)
-Wifi (will sacrifice on Storm)
-More text than talk
I've seen a deal for the Diamond on Bell, $50 for the handset, $45/mth for 500MB and some other BS... but Bell gets a really bad rep on the forums I troll (RedFlagDeals)...
Rogers seems to have positive feedback (for a major cell carrier), but I can't find a decent middleground in their plans...
Remember: Canada'd so we get raped on cellphones up here...
My top choice ATM is the iPhone... too many sexy apps...
Failing a decent recommendation on these 3 phones, convince me why I should wait for Canada to get an Android based something, or tell me about a sexy phone that will blow these away...
Thanks Shack
TL;dr - recommend a good smartphone, preferably touch and with wifi

I currently have a second generation phone and don't really care about the next one even if they included things like dual cameras for video conferencing. For me, it currently does everything I need to do on such a device. OS 3.0 would be adding even more features, it'll practically feel like a new device once it's out (or at least that's what I tell myself).
The only regret you'd make if you buy it now is knowing that you could be using a newer and better phone for the same amount of money if you waited a couple months. It's the same thing as buying a TV right now and having it go on sale in a couple months.
