Capitalism is about wealth being privately controlled and operated. This is about there be no checks and balances for a single player being able to screw over thousands below him. In a large company the CEO doesn't have the ability to sell the building, all of the workers, and give all of the money the company owns to a rival. He would have to answer to the board, investors, and then the government. None of which has to do with capitalism as an economic system.
I think I get what you're saying and I think its really cool they give so much control to the players but any business that large has a system of checks and balances done internally that has nothing to do with being run in a capitalist market or not. I personally see it as a flaw in the game since from what I know there is no way for players in the guild to have any say in the matter. The way the game is set up it gives all power to the leader no matter if the players around him are fooled by spies or not. There is no deception or some grand scheme if the guy at the top is Icelandic and is simply paid a lot of money by an American lawyer.
