3D gaming for all some!
Anyone want to try your games in 3D like the Geforce 3D vision, but don't want to spend the money to try?
Here's how you do it:
You need:
Windows Vista (it says 32bit only, but I have 64 bit and it works for me, but I also have the geforce 3d vision)
A Nvidia graphics card, GeForce 6 series or higher
1 pair of Red/Blue 3D glasses (like the ones that come with 3D movies)
and this 3D Stereo graph driver from Nvidia http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d_stereo.html
Install, setup, and select the anaglyph (Red/Blue) option and you should be set to go (hopefully).
The colors will be ugly because of the glasses, but you will at least get a sample of true 3D.
In any case it's neat to play with, and the effect is still pretty damn good.
Supposedly there is a driver for ATI cards as well, as my friend got it to work, but I didn't get a chance to get the details from him.
