Anyways, i was wondering what some of your most memorable spyware/virus/trojan, etc. are?
I think the one i remember most from my youth is the Michaelangelo Virus from the early 90s. I had a friend who got infected with that from a 5.25" floppy.
Other than that, probably one of the ones i remember most is Gator, since so many of the people in my dorm were infected with it.
What are some of the most memorable for you?

Also..it's easy to build a highly secure configuration, but unfortunately, the reality of an enterprise means that this configuration is going to break applications. It's the nature of the beast.
And lastly and most importantly, information security isn't really about having the most secure systems around. It's about risk acceptance. You accept a level of risk based on your business requirements, and you build your security policy around that risk.
As an enterprise SA, your job is operational, you build the boxes, make them go and make them stay up. As such, you probably don't have the perspective or skillset to make such a wide-ranging security decision (affecting such a huge client base).
TLDR - An enterprise SA shouldn't be making security decisions because security and operations are usually counter to each other and that type of decision involves multiple levels outside of IT.
