Now I'm having a bit of buyers remorese. The gigabyte motherboard says it supports the 8400 but under bios F8a. F8a only came out in mid december. What are the odds that newegg will have a motherboard with the most recent bios? What will happen if its shipped with an earlier bios? Now in my past experience if a motherboard didn't support a cpu, it would just report it wrong but still boot. Anyone know if this is likely the case or will I have a non-booting system and thus boned since I don't have a cpu to put in the motherboard and flash the bios?
