I was the only one who could play the alien without motion sickness, so that's exactly what I did. Everyone else was a mix of predators and marines.
We were playing a map with a bunch of corridor that surrounded some really large hollowed out cave area. I was exploring the ceiling of the cave when I guess one of the marines saw a blip on his motion sensor and went to investigate. Luckily I saw him emerge from the corridor just in time to stop moving as to not further set off his detector. I then proceed to watch him as he pans around the room, never really leaving the entrance to the corridor , looking for his prey. At one point he points right at me for a good 15 seconds as he tries to determine if what he's looking at is an alien or part of the scenery. Not sensing any movement, he turns back around to head down the hallway.
I took this as my chance to strike. I quickly rushed toward the corridor, making sure to stick to the ceiling as to give me a slight advantage. Right as I run up behind him his motion detector goes off, so he quickly spins around and starts spraying the hallway with gunfire, but it was too late -- I had already sprinted behind him and dropped to the ground. Seeing the blip behind him he quickly spun around just in time to see an alien bite his face off.
That's when he lost it.
JESUS FUCKING CHRIST WHAT THE FUCK!
He yelled, but not out of anger or frustrated -- out of fear.
As it turns out the guy I was stalking in the game was the person who lived across the hall from me. He was a senior who had lived on the hall for four years, and was fairly well known. He was also fairly quiet, so when people heard him yell they knew something was up and went to investigate (myself included). What we found was him about two feet away from his monitor, shaking, and pale as a ghost. On his screen was AvP, and (I think?) his dead character looking up an an alien drooling over his corpse. I started laughing hysterically, and he called me a fucker once he realized who was playing the alien.
He also never played the game again.
It was awesome.
