Not sure if I can quote so freely from a magazine but nukers nuke if nukeable
On the rpg elements :
"I focused my character so tightly on hitting things with a wrench that by the end of game, I could brain any unsuspecting enemy with a single swipe
On the characters/voice work :
"A doctor in the Medical Wing with one blank eye beat me to death with a rake, shouting 'It's just...a standard...procedure!', then made a verbal note of my time of death.
On the visceral combat :
There's something tangibly unkind about setting someone alight, then clotheslining them with a five-kilo bloodstained wrench as they scream past you towards water
He mentions there is no console to PC issues at all, there are even PC options for quest compass disable, disable golden sheen on quest items and auto aiming is disabled unless you plug in a 360 pad. Not only that he mentions it runs superbly on a AMD X2 5200, and entry level 8800 on Direct X 9 at 1600x900 at max settings. No mention of a demo.
His closing comments :
I spend my career, and my gaming life, waiting for a moment when a game astonishes me, when I cant believe what I'm seeing, what I'm doing. Bioshock has five.
Holy Shit.
