In the end what I am basically saying is that I believe like a few developers have stated previously. A game has to be as great as the movie if it is to be made. Or a movie has to be as great as the game. Otherwise it is a disservice to the legacy of the game/movie(the IP). As well as a disservice to the fans, and the creators of the game/movie. And possibly quite detrimental to the future of making perhaps a great game/movie, based on that IP. They have to get the forumla for what makes that movie great down. Then find out how to translate it into gameplay that will create that same emotional feeling. And vice versa for a game being translated into a movie.
