Then I moved to Sydney, which I do believe has a population of about 3.9 million.
It was rather overwhelming at first, for us all, however, we managed by staying concentrated in one little suburb, so my mum would only go shopping at the local grocery store, the local mall, and no further, till we got used to the idea.
My dad howeer, had to drive all over the city for his job, and basically he had to spend about an hour couple of nights a week just studying street directory maps. He tells me it was an extremely frustrating time for him.
Personally though, I slipped right into city life, can't imagine actually living in a small place anymore, love big cities.
