Shortly after the Nintendo Switch reveal event, publisher Ubisoft announced three games they intend to bring to the console/portable hybrid system.

The first is Steep, Ubisoft's open-world extreme sports game released in late 2016, followed by the platformer Rayman Legends Definitive Edition, and dancing party game Just Dance 2017.

Additionally, Ubisoft hinted at other projects currently in development for the Nintendo Switch, promising new details at a later date.

Over 80 games are currently in development or planned to release on the Nintendo Switch, including Dragon Quest X, Dragon Quest XI, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Splatoon 2, and Super Mario Odyssey

The Nintendo Switch will be available on March 3.

More ports. :( But, at least these are full console games and not ports from iOS. So, there's that at least.

Bear in mind that virtually every console released this generation shipped with ports and a lackluster first-party game or two. That said, I'm impressed with Switch's launch lineup so far. Zelda and Mario Kart 8 DX (available 4/28) will keep me tied over, and I've never even played Skyrim.

I sink my teeth into games; by the time I'm ready for something new, Mario Odyssey will be out.

True. I was kinda hoping Switch might avoid that. It's a bit of a contraction, I know. I want a portable console (holy grail, right?), with full console games, not "mobile" games (GAH), and I don't feel the need to have Madden 2017, yet another CoD/BF, ect. But, without those money makers I get that the Activisions, EAs and Ubisofts of the world just won't support the platform at all.

I just hope we get more Switch games that use the features of the system beyond just 1st party titles; which so far it kinda looks like that's mostly what's going to happen.

Still, Rayman in a portable format is nice. And, I guess Minecraft (pocket?) with real controllers would be awesome on the couch. Jus had my heart set on DQ Builders is all. :(

Ya, the Telltale one and regular Minecraft. I was talking about the regular one. I assume it'll be based on Minecraft Pocket, which I believe the Xbox one is too.
