Pokemon Go lets you carry six Pokemon into friendly gyms

You also receive a catching bonus.

Over the course of this past summer, you couldn’t go more than two[DC1]  city blocks without seeing someone playing Pokemon Go. Fast forward a few months and the craze has died down a little bit but that hasn’t stopped Niantic Labs from releasing timely updates for the Pocket Monsters mobile game. As mentioned on the Niantic Labs Pokemon Go site, you’ll be able to train your Pokemon easier with gym training and capture bonuses.

The major additions to the game in this update include a catch bonus and allowing the trainer to bring six Pokemon with them into “friendly” gym battles for training. The catch bonus rewards trainers for catching more of the same type of Pokemon. By that logic, you finally get rewarded for catching all those Pidgeys and Weedles, besides the candies.

These gameplay features combine nicely with the new egg and incubator screens and the evolution animation times cut down. These additions to the mobile game will have the Pokemon trainers’ running back to their smart phones and getting their running shoes to help them catch em all.
