Horizon Zero Dawn Launches Next Year, Drops New Trailer

It's been a long time coming, but we finally know what's up.

After a long waiting period following Horizon Zero Dawn's announcement, there's finally a new trailer to salivate over as well as a concrete release date: February 28, 2017. That's a while away still, but if it means the game'll get some extra tender loving care before it releases, I'm all for a long development period.

The trailer shows off some of lead character Aloy, as well as her origin, her journey and outcast lifestyle, and why she's embarking on the dangerous quest she finds herself on. Honestly, it looks like it could bring some interesting ideas to the table if it doesn't go the way of Far Cry Primal or Tomb Raider where we give the protagonist primitive weapons and just hope for the best and call it an engaging. But that's just me.

Enjoy the new trailer below!
