The Division's newest patch is 'unsuccessful'

Move along, folks, nothing to see here. Literally.

The Division servers went down today for maintenance and a new patch. The good news? Servers came back up early. The bad news? The patch didn't survive.

During the process, the patch was "unsuccessful", allowing servers to come back up about an hour earlier than expected. No word on what caused the cancellation of the patch, but the delay means that the Clear Sky Incurison Challenge mode will be introduced at a later date.

The 1.2 Conflict update came out last week, and developer Massive has been diligently plodding along trying to fix all the various bugs that keep cropping up in the game. That hasn't stopped the game from being a hit for Ubisoft.

Let's hope, however, that the movie will be better at launch.

So, the new search and destroy things that you do suck bigtime. You gotta grind intel to "unlock" hard guys to go fight. Once you unlock a fight, if you wipe, it's gone and you lose the intel you were grinding. The endgame in this sucks so hard.

I thiink it's only the weekly targets that you lose intel when you fail. Pretty sure the daily ones you can try multiple times.

Just make sure you do weekly targets with a group.

I was with a group, doing the 50 intel guy the first time, so we had no warning about that and we wiped. And I lost 50 intel because of it.

Yea they should definitely give you a heads up that you only get one chance. Another thing to add to the list of stuff they need to correct.

It's so weird to see this game basically retread Diablo 3. This search and destroy is the same as the old system in Diablo of doing bounties in order to get keystones for rifts. Maybe in a few months they'll let us just run HVTs without having to farm up the intel first.

This game has had so many issues, and despite all the problems I still can't stop playing it.
