More classic console goodness has made its way to PC. Thanks to the ubiquity of digital gaming, you can get Metal Slug 2 on Steam for only $6.99.

Metal Slug 2 dials the original game's frantic gameplay up to 11 by adding more weapons, transformations, and Slugs to your arsenal. Don't let all the action tempt you to slow down and grab a snack: characters gain weight if they chow down on too much food in a level, slowing your movements. Another transformation, inflicted courtesy of mummies, binds you up and leaves you unable to attack for a limited time.

Originally developed by SNK for its Neo-Geo arcade hardware, Metal Slug 2 on Steam comes with all the modern trimmings you'd expect: controller support, achievements, leaderboards, and cloud saves.
