Dying Light is promising a vast new playground for The Following, its upcoming expansion. Techland released a new trailer today, revealing just how big the developer is thinking and it looks to be bigger than anticipated.

The trailer below highlights numerous new locales for players to play around in. That includes the vertical industrial Granary, the pitch-black spooky Old Graveyard, the abandoned vehicle paradise Race Track, the lookout point Lighthouse, the mysterious Hermit's Cabin, and the hauntingly frightful Ghost Town.

Techland is promising that all of this content is twice the size of the original Dying Light, so there looks to be plenty to explore. Anyone that needs an idea of just how big can find the interactive map here. Dying Light players will get a chance to dive in when The Following releases on February 9.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
