This year's PlayStation Experience concluded with the exciting conclusion to this year's Capcom Pro Tour and an amazing Capcom Cup tournament. With Kazunoko displaying a dominating performance that saw him defeat Mad Catz' Daigo Umehara in the Grand Finals, it was time for one final announcement. Series producer Yoshinori Ono took the stage to reveal that there will be more to the Street Fighter V story coming soon, while also revealing the date for the next Street Fighter V beta.

A third Street Fighter V beta will run from December 18-20, with Capcom looking to try out an improved online multiplayer based on user feedback. Like the previous beta, expect it to run across both PC and PS4 with cross-play enabled.

Ono revealed a teaser for Street Fighter: Resurrection, a new web series from the folks at Machinima. Machinima was previously behind Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist and will now help tell the mysterious tale behind Nash's return to the world of the living.

Ono also revealed that next year's Capcom Pro Tour would kick off on March 18 with Final Round in Atlanta, GA. And it will move on from Ultra Street Fighter IV and advance to Street Fighter V.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
