Lara Croft GO searches for the 'Shard of Life' tomorrow; drops to $3 for the weekend

Lara Croft GO is getting a new content update tomorrow, adding 26 new levels free of charge. To celebrate, Square Enix is dropping the price for the holiday weekend.

While November has seen Lara Croft embark on a new adventure on the Xbox One, there was a separate tale that released earlier this year from the folks at Square Enix Montreal. Lara Croft GO was a pretty enjoyable adventure in itself, capably following up on last year's unexpected mobile hit, Hitman GO. Now Square Enix is expanding on the adventure with some new content, as well as dropping the price for the holidays.

IGN explains that the Shard of Life DLC will set Lara on a path towards the Cave of Fire in search of lost artifacts and the titular Shard of Life itself. The update will feature 26 new puzzles, along with new enemies, costumes, and collectibles.

The Shard of Life DLC will be available tomorrow as a free update. Those looking to pick up Lara Croft GO can find it now at a discounted $3 on the App Store and Google Play.
